Directions
From George Airport (25 minutes by car)
(flights available ex Cape Town and Johannesburg)
- Exit the airport, turn right towards N2
- Turn left onto N2 heading in the direction of George
- Continue on the N2 past George
- Follow the N2 through the Kaaimans Pass
- Pass through the small village of Wilderness on the N2
- Look out for Caltex petrol/gas station on your right
- 1km beyond Caltex, turn Left into North street
- Turn immediately right at T-junction to continue with North Street
- Lodge on the Lake is No. 746 North Street
From Cape Town (approx. 4 and a 1/2 hours by car)
- Follow N2 from Cape Town to Wilderness (approx. 500 km) following signs for George for 480km
- Pass by George on the N2
- Pass through the small village of Wilderness on the N2
- Look out for Caltex petrol/gas station on your right
- 1km beyond Caltex, turn Left into North street
- Turn immediately right at T-junction to continue with North Street
- Lodge on the Lake is No. 746 North Street
From Plettenberg Bay (approx. 1 and a 1/2 hours by car)
(Note: Lodge on the Lake in a little bit BEFORE the town of Wilderness, as shown on a map.
- Follow N2 from Plettenberg Bay continuing through Knysna
- Approx. 15 minutes after passing through Sedgefield on the N2, look out for a sign for Kleinkrantz on your left
- Pass by the sign for Kleinkrantz, but look out for the sign for North Street on your right one km beyond
- Turn right into North Street
- Turn immediately right at T-junction to continue with North Street
- Lodge on the Lake is No. 746 North Street
